Rare white lion twins were born on October 2 at Jinan Wildlife Park in east China's Shandong Province. The twin cubs, one male and one female, are in good health and just opened their eyes on Sunday, a few days after birth. Although some 300 white lions live today in captivity, about a dozen live in the wild. They are not albinos but their rare coloration results from a genetic rarity.
