More than 200 people were arrested in London for their alleged involvement in protests by the Extinction Rebellion environmental group on Monday. Similar climate protests are being held in more than 60 cities across the world, including Berlin, Madrid, and New York. Extinction Rebellion said it expects peaceful protests to call on governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2025 and halt a loss of biodiversity.
