The world's biggest garden show, Beijing International Horticulture Expo 2019, concluded on Monday after a three-month-long successful run with over 100 participating countries. Sara Everett, UK Commissioner General and Project Director Beijing Expo 2019, said: "We have been very struck by the number of people who are working to develop new garden across the whole of China, which is really encouraging, but also those who are already working with some British organizations, with some of the big botanical institutions in Britain. And so they come to this garden and seen this garden and said that they would like to build more gardens of this kind of style in China. So we will continue to work very closely with them."
