Durga Puja Festival is one of the biggest festivals for Hindu women. Though it is a 10-day festival, the last five days are considered to be the most significant. /VCG Photo

Hindu women usually apply "Sindhur", or vermilion powder, on each other's faces after worshiping the idol of the Hindu goddess Durga. During the festival, it is also a tradition to buy new clothes and gifts for their dear ones. /VCG Photo
