Jaeincheong is a civilian association that grew out of the thriving business of entertainment in the 17th century of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. Back then, a group of talented artists reorganized themselves under the name of Jaeincheong to better meet the public demand for these services as an artistic association.

Today, traditional dance is no longer popular in the modern city of Seoul. But one woman, Jung Joo Mi, is so passionate about the ancient dancing style that she chose to live like her ancestor, a Jaeincheong dancer.
