On October 4, the Hong Kong SAR government invoked the Emergency Regulations Ordinance (ERO) to implement an anti-mask law to curb violence. In the past few days, a large number of radical protesters wearing masks went on an unapproved march. They built barricades to block traffic and pulled up bricks to destroy the road, and committed other illegal acts.
