Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands Manasseh Sogavare. The countries established diplomatic ties last month. President Xi said the Solomon Islands' recognition of the one-China principle, the foundation stone of Beijing's Taiwan policy would benefit the Pacific island nation going forward.
