Chinese President Xi Jinping praised Solomon Islands' decision to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China (PRC), saying it conforms to the trend of the times. President Xi made the remarks while meeting with visiting Solomon Islands' Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare on Wednesday at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
