Archaeological industrial zone discovered in Egypt

Two archaeological discoveries including an industrial zone known as the Valley of the Monkeys were made public in Luxor, Egypt on October 10, 2019. /VCG Photo

A ring, a used water storage tank and several beads and golden objects used for royal coffin decoration were found. There were also some tools the ancient Egyptians chose to use for royal tomb construction. /VCG Photo

Experts started working in the area since 2017 and their discoveries are among a series of ancient treasures that Egypt hopes that can help promote tourism. /VCG Photo
