China and Nepal are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers. The two countries have an history of friendly exchanges, and there are over 20 trading ports along the border line. Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Nepal from October 12 to 13, the first visit to the country by a Chinese president in 23 years.
