So why did the cherry blossoms bloom in autumn?

According to scientists, due to the recent continuous warm weather, the cherry blossom trees "misunderstood" the season, leading to the sprouts becoming active and bloomed eventually. This phenomenon is described as an anti-season activity of plant. Hence, this is a "beautiful misunderstanding" that offers people a second chance to enjoy the delicate flowers.
