Officials from the Hong Kong Police Force are holding a press conference on recent violent protests in the city. According to an official police statement, two police officers were assaulted by a group of rioters in Tseung Kwan O on Sunday. Rioters used hard objects to bludgeon the heads of the police officers; both officers have suffered major head injuries.
