Located in northwest China's Gansu Province, Shandan Horse Ranch is one of the world's biggest and oldest ranches for war horses.

It covers an area of nearly 2,200 square kilometers in the Qilian Mountains.

The history dates back to the Han Dynasty in 121 B.C.
