China's coastal city of Qingdao welcomes migratory birds

Qingdao City in east China's Shandong Province is welcoming large flocks of migratory birds.

These flying guests include pied avocets, caspian terns, grey plovers, seagulls, Far Eastern curlews, among others.

In recent years, Qingdao has been a favorite stopover point for migratory birds searching for food and wintering grounds.
