Zhong Zhaoxia is the 24-year-old creator of the Kaijiang Rose Garden in Santai County, southwest China's Sichuan Province. She started the business after returning to her hometown in 2015. After four years of effort, Zhong has planted about 100,000 roses in more than 100 varieties and helped nine poor families out of poverty.

In 2018, a severe flash flood hit Sichuan Province, destroyed Zhong's rose garden overnight. But she never gave up on her dream of having her own business and reopened her rose garden this year. CGTN reporter Tao Yuan sits down with Zhong to find out more about her dedication to her rose garden.
