The Legislative Council (LegCo) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Wednesday halted the meeting of the 2019 policy address after Chief Executive Carrie Lam's speech was repeatedly disrupted by some legislators.
Lam was scheduled to deliver an annual policy address focusing on land and housing measures, but her speech was disrupted by some opposition LegCo members when she started.
President of the LegCo Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen announced the meeting would be adjourned.
Lam later delivered her address via a video message.
