U.S. State Department officials say Chinese diplomats in the U.S. are now required to give advanced notice of meetings with U.S. state, local and municipal officials, as well as at educational and research institutions. They call the decision a response to how U.S. diplomats are treated in China. China's Foreign Ministry says such accusations are groundless.
