The 21st China Shanghai International Arts Festival will raise its curtains tomorrow.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and organized by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival (CSIAF) is the only state-level arts festival in China and has attracted art lovers from all around to experience world-class opera and modern dance performances like "Die Zauberfloete" and "Carmen of Compañía Nacional de Danza."

With the theme of“A Festival of Arts, a Gala for All,”this year's CSIAF consists of different sections, including performances, exhibitions, an "Art Space" series, an Arts Plus program, forums, themed festivals and a young talents program called "R.A.W.!" (Rising Artists' Works).

Comprising a galaxy of classics and creative originals from home and abroad, the arts festival consistently presents a fabulous and splendid art feast to visitors.

By expanding "Art Space," its arts education program, the "Special Discount offer to the Public" and membership activities, the arts festival fosters greater interaction and communication between the artists and local art lovers.

The CSIAF will run from October 18 to November 17.
