Run for fun! The 2019 City Fun Run kicked off on Saturday morning in east China's Hangzhou City. It was held at the southern end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the world's longest canal and UNESCO world heritage site. The five-kilometer run attracted over 3,000 participants and includes several cultural activities, such as "xiaorehun," a folk rap that mixes speech and song, movable-type printing, and making a Chinese steelyard balance scale. As Hangzhou gears up to host the 2022 Asian Games, sports enthusiasm is increasing among residents.
