A large group of protesters are holding an unlawful assembly in Tsim Sha Tsui, China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, police said in a statement, warning them to stop illegal activities immediately.

At around 3:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, rioters vandalized and hurled petrol bombs into Mongkok, Yau Ma Tei and Austin MTR Stations. Some even damaged the gate of a restaurant on Waterloo Road.

Police said they will conduct dispersal operations at the areas and warned the public to keep windows closed and stay indoors.
