Two Phayre's leaf monkeys were seen in the Pu'er National Park in China's southwestern province of Yunnan. 

Phayre's leaf monkeys' range is restricted to the tropical and subtropical forests of Yunnan. 

They are typical tree-inhabiting monkeys.
