CGTN Ji Xiaojun and Louisa Lee visited a local market in Margilan of Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan. The region is known for its luscious fruit because the land is exceptionally fertile and suitable for agricultural production. Fergana has a river that runs through the valley and has great exposure to sunshine during summer months. Legend has it that an imperial convoy from the Han Dynasty traveled westward and brought back fruits from this region.
