Chinese athletes have won by far 70 medals – 41 golds, 16 silvers and 13 bronzes – at the end of the third day of competition of the 7th CISM Military World Games in Wuhan, Hubei Province, central China.
On Day 3, the Chinese won ten events in the swimming pool, seven in swimming and three in lifesaving, and broke seven CISM records with the two sports combined.
The new records are:
Yang Junxuan won the women's 100m freestyle in 53.93.
Ji Xinjie won the men's 200m freestyle in 1:46.54.
Wang Shun won the men's 400m individual medley in 4:10.13.
And in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay, Ji Xinjie, He Junyi, Zhu Menghui, and Yang Junxuan captured gold in 3:26.04.
Wu Huimin won gold in the 100m rescue medley women in 1:09.97.
Ling Huanan won gold in the 100m rescue medley men in 1:02.13.
In the 4x25m manikin relay women, Hu Yifan, Wu Huimin, Dai Xiaodie, and Bao Xueyi won gold in 1:19.02.
In shotgun women trap individual, China's Li Qingnian won gold with 43, achieving a personal breakthrough as she missed gold by one target in the previous Military World Games. Together with teammates Wang Xiaojing and Deng Weiyun, the three athletes won gold in the shotgun women trap team.
The shotgun men trap team was also won by Chinese athletes – Xia Wei, Yu Xiaokai, and Guo Yuhao.
Other golds came from men's teams in table tennis and artistic gymnastics.
