The Chinese Foreign Ministry addressed the issue of a statement made by the U.S. ambassador to China during Monday's regular press conference in Beijing.

The U.S. ambassador had expressed concern over alleged restrictions imposed by Beijing on U.S. diplomats. 

China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying asked for further explanation on what kind of activities mentioned in the statement were restricted by the Chinese government.

"Based on my understanding, when carrying out cooperation activities with the U.S., the Chinese Foreign Ministry has always been supportive and even offers assistance," Hua said.
