Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed hope that relations with Pacific island nations will make progress. He said in a letter to the forum held on October 21 in Samoa that the event is about economic cooperation between China and the Pacific island nations. President Xi also said that he hopes countries will strengthen their relations.
