The bridge, 28.1 meters long and 4.2 meters wide, is believed to be the largest of its kind in the world, according to Hebei University of Technology. /VCG Photo

The pedestrian bridge, designed by Professor Ma Guowei and his team in Hebei University of Technology, is a replica of the oldest standing bridge in China – Zhaozhou Bridge, which is located in Zhaoxian County in Hebei Province. /VCG Photo

Professor Ma says that using the 3D concrete printing technology has saved around one-third of construction materials and two-thirds of human labor. /VCG Photo
