At the 6th World internet Conference in Jiaxing City, East China, artificial intelligence (AI) has become the centerpiece and has won praise from both companies and consumers.

AI-supported software is enabling children from a remote Chinese province to learn Mandarin at school. The software, dubbed as "AI teacher language learning system," includes cartoons and also has interactive functions. It allows students to conduct a dialogue with a computer through speech recognition and speech measurement technology.

The software has been utilized in a total of 252 teaching schools and helped nearly 80,000 children learn Mandarin.
