Chinese athletes finished Wednesday victoriously at the Military World Games in Wuhan by winning 20 golds, 11 silvers, and five bronzes.

The home team did well in the two military sports of military pentathlon and parachuting. As Pan Yucheng and Aniu Ergu pocketed both the title and the runner-up of men's individual Military Pentathlon, their female compatriots occupied the whole victory rostrum by pocketing all three medals. Meanwhile, China also won gold in both the men's team and women's team in this sport.

In parachuting, Chinese athletes won four of the five championships on Wednesday. Gao Tianbo and Yu Ruilong, Xing Yaping, and Yang Mei claimed title and runner-up of junior men's individual style and junior women's individual accuracy, respectively. Xing Yaping went further to take the gold of junior women's individual overall and women's individual accuracy.

Swimming, of course again, became a good buffet for China as the country's athletes pocketed five golds, one silver and two bronzes in seven sports. More importantly, Li Guangyuan (men's 200-meter back stroke), Chen Jie (women's 50m backstroke), Yu Jingyao (women's 100m breaststroke), Wang Jianjiahe (women's 800m freestyle) and Li Guangyuan, Yan Zibei, Zhang Yufei, Yang Junxuan (mixed 4x100m medley relay) all broke the Military World Record of the sport they won.
