With fewer than 1,000 days left for the much-anticipated 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, preparations are in full-swing for the historic event. In order to keep the momentum going, the organizers have roped in a new sponsor for the quadrennial event that will make the Chinese capital the first ever city to host both the Summer and the Winter Olympics. The Beijing Beiao Group Corporation Ltd has been announced as an official sponsor of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics as part of the organizing committee's drive to repeat the grand success of the 2008 Summer Games.

According to the organizers, Beiao Group will offer sport presentations and victory ceremonies services during the Games as those are an important part of Olympics and it's a good way to show the culture of the host country.

The corporate conglomerate has planned, organized, and executed more than 120 big events, including the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and 2010 Asian Games. Until now, the Beijing Winter Olympics Committee has signed nine official partners, six official sponsors and two official suppliers.

With its motto of "Joyful Rendezvous upon Pure Ice and Snow," Beijing 2022 will build on the legacies of the hallmark 2008 Summer Games and expects to motivate millions of people across China to embrace winter sports. The 109 events in seven Olympic winter sports will be staged in the three competition zones of central Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. The marquee event will take place in February 2022, coinciding with the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, the most important festival in China.
