Every year, as summer draws to a close, the Miao people in south China's Guizhou Province enjoy a special feast — the Long Table Banquet. Each family prepares at least a table full of food to celebrate the harvest and showcase their culinary skills. Stretching over 3,500 meters, the tables are long enough to accommodate over 10,000 diners. With drumming, singing and dancing, the feast creates a carnival atmosphere.
