Making beautiful art always requires exquisite skills. Glassware is no exception. The glass liquid reaches 1,000 degrees Celsius, and almost right after leaving the smelter it will solidify, so the craftsman has to blow the glass material into shape in 120 seconds. Some parts of that creation will be rapidly cooled, and others will be reheated to continue the molding process. The craftsman has to adjust the heating temperature delicately to make the best design. This operation was seen at a glass expo in Qixian County in north China's Shanxi Province. The county's glassware represents 26 percent of the total global production, with its exports reaching over 80 countries and regions in the world.
