Two infrared cameras in the Wujiao Nature Reserve in southwest China's Sichuan Province recently captured a wild panda scent-marking.
The panda was spotted at a mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest on August 22 at an altitude of 3,023 meters.
Videos taken on August 22 show a fat panda smelling a tree and rubbing its backside against it to leave its scent.
Workers of the reserve explained that the panda's behavior serves to mark its territory and attract a mate.
In addition to the panda, the cameras also captured images of other rare wild animals.
