Hong Kong's High Court granted an interim injunction to ban doxxing of police on October 25, 2019, which stirred controversy. Since June, Hong Kong police have faced severe violations to their privacy and threats to their lives. "The ban is reasonable. I've also faced troubles from doxxing. However, my difficulties are a far cry from what the police face," a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong said.
