At least two people were killed and more than 20 others injured as a gunman opened fire at a homecoming party for Texas A&M Commerce in Greenville, U.S., on Saturday night, according to local media reports.
Initial reports said the shooting happened on the university campus, but the university's police department said on Twitter that the shooting was not on campus.
The shooting came as the university celebrated its homecoming weekend. The event was a homecoming party, but wasn't school-sanctioned, AP reported on Sunday citing local officials.
At least 750 people were at the party when the incident happened, an official said.
The shooter's whereabouts are currently unknown, according to local reports.
