Seven people were killed, and 11 others injured in floods after heavy rain lashed northeastern parts of Saudi Arabia, AFP quoted Al-Ekhbariya state television reported Monday.
Sixteen people were forced to evacuate their houses in the northeastern city of Hafer al-Batin, about 100 kilometers southwest of Kuwait, according to local rescue services.
Schools in Hafer al-Batin were suspended classes due to the weather.
Shelter has been provided to the people affected by the rain, rescue services said.
