Frost Descent that just passed has added more colors to the Yuquan Mountain in suburban Taiyuan, the capital of north China's Shanxi Province. A neatly built marathon race course looks like a ribbon twining around the colorful mountains. A decade ago, the Yuquan Mountain was a spot of many waste mines, and its environment was severely damaged. After years of afforestation, now the place has been turned into a forest park as large as 12 million square meters. It has also become an online hit tourist destination.
