Two red pandas, takins and a black bear were recently spotted in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The Labahe Scenic Zone in Tianquan County has vast areas of forest, and thus has become a paradise for wild animals.

Recently, staff members encountered several takins, which are under the state first-level protection, two red pandas and a black bear under second-level state protection.

The red panda is native to the Eastern Himalayas and regions in southwestern China. Less than 10,000 red pandas are left in the wild.

Takins are short-legged goat antelopes under first-class state protection. The Sichuan takin is considered a national treasure in China.
