The Second China International Import Expo or CIIE will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. Over 3,000 companies from 150 countries and regions are participating. They will exhibit products in seven sections, ranging from food to fabrics, AI to medical equipment. At the same time, the Hongqiao International Economic and Trade Forum will be running. Zhou Mi, a senior research fellow with the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, sat down with CGTN and talked about the outcomes of the first CIIE and the expectations for the second one. Zhou stated that the event is expected to expand in the sense of creating a better platform for the participants.
