The parents of Hoang Van Tiep, one of the suspected 39 victims found in a truck in the UK's Essex County, said they believe their son was scammed. Eighteen-year-old Tiep was working in France before deciding to move to the UK, where he hoped to work in a nail salon. The tragedy is casting a light on the migrants who undertake such perilous journeys in hopes of a better life. British Interior Minister Priti Patel said the investigation would unravel "criminality that could stretch halfway across the world."
