U.S. President Donald Trump said on Twitter that the person likely to replace ISIL's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was also killed by American soldiers.

"Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's number one replacement has been terminated by American troops. Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also Dead!" Trump tweeted on Tuesday, without giving more details.
