In a public statement, Guo said that as one of the largest and oldest public universities in Morocco, University Hassan II Casablanca has played a positive role in promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Morocco.

Based on the profound cultural accumulation and open atmosphere, China's Information Office of the State Council decided to cooperate with the University and build the "China Pavilion."

There are over 2,000 books and audio-visual products introducing China's economic, political, cultural, social, and environmental characteristics in the "China Pavilion." It provides an important platform for local people to understand China more comprehensively.

A picture exhibition, themed Glorious History to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, was held on the same day, showing the PRC's great achievements and valuable experiences from the past 70 years.
