In the city of Hejin in northern China's Shanxi Province, a truck transported a wind turbine blade to the top of the Lvliang Mountain for installation. The blade weighs around 20 tons and is 70 meters long. Taking that giant piece of infrastructure to the mountain top is not an easy job. The task usually requires several people working together as the truck climbs up winding mountain roads with 20 turns. Climate and temperature changes, and also road conditions can affect the operation. This mission often takes at least three hours.
