At least 22 people were killed, and 10 others injured when a Mining Mineral Resources' (MMR) mining truck overturned at Mutetenya village in Tanganyika province, southeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Friday, national police said on Twitter.

"All the cargo of cassiterite (a source of tin) spilled down the steep slope," police added.
