The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) last year saw deals for prospective one-year purchase of goods and services reach 57.83 billion U.S. dollars. And deals from Belt and Road countries reached 4.7 billion U.S. dollars. An array of world-famous enterprises have reaped fruitful outcomes in China through the event.
The total volume includes 16.5 billion U.S. dollars worth of smart equipment, 12.7 billion U.S. dollars of food and agricultural products, 12 billion U.S. dollars of automobiles, 5.8 billion U.S. dollars of medical equipment and medical care products, 4.3 billion U.S. dollars of electronic products and home appliances, 3.4 billion U.S. dollars of clothes and consumer goods, and 3.2 billion U.S. dollars worth of service trade.
Altogether, the six-day event attracted 3,600 companies from more than 130 countries and regions to participate, with major achievements following from 13 enterprises that have greatly benefited from the first CIIE.
