A group of jackals was filmed chasing after several blue sheep on a cliff in Subei Mongolian Autonomous County, northwest China's Gansu Province. The blue sheep were trapped and surrounded by the jackals on a steep rock wall. After a few minutes of stalemate, the jackals gave up the hunting and left. Jackal is enlisted as a class II protected species in China.
