Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Friday ahead of the 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Li called for enhanced cooperation on SCO and bilateral issues while Medvedev said the two sides should use scientific and technological innovation to further intensify their cooperation. Meanwhile, Premier Li also met Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, with both sides reaching a consensus on imports and exports.
