Kenyan runners dominate 2019 New York City Marathon

From Staten Island to Brooklyn and Manhattan, about 50,000 runners participated in the 2019 New York City Marathon on Sunday. The largest marathon in the world attracted top professional athletes and amateurs from over 125 countries. Kenya's Geoffrey Kamworor took the men's race in 2 hours, 8 minutes and 13 seconds and Joyciline Jepkosgei won the women's open division title in 2 hours, 22 minutes and 38 seconds.
