Since August this year, riots and rampant violence has swept the streets of Hong Kong. Protesters vandalized stores, subway stations and blocked roads, causing a major disruption to the daily life of other citizens. Annie Wu Suk-ching is a Hong Kong businesswoman who has shuttled between the mainland and Hong Kong over the past 40 years. Today, she stands as one of the few in Hong Kong who understands the transformation of the mainland. In an exclusive interview with CGTN, her eyes teared up when she talked about the recent violence in Hong Kong.
