How will the SCO model help improve global governance?

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is in Uzbekistan for a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The organization was established in 2001 and consists of eight member states from across Asia, four observer countries and six partner countries. The organization is referred to as SCO, and the total trade between China and other member states reached 255 billion U.S. dollars in 2018, a year-on-year increase of more than 17 percent. How will the SCO model help improve global governance? Su Xiaohui, deputy director of International and Strategic Studies at the China Institute of International Studies, shares her views with CGTN.
