This is the loess plateau along the city of Xinzhou in northern China's Shanxi Province. As it has reached late autumn, local farmers have been harvesting their ripe crops, collecting every grain. The chilly climate has turned the terraces into different colors. From hundreds of meters above the ground, aerial shots show the region looks just like a giant eyeshadow palette of earthy tones.
